Super Hostile Minecraft Modpack
My new maps are designed for use with the Super Hostile Modpack. We have over 2000 hours of work put into making the modpack truly custom and run really well on even low-spec PCs, so please give it a try even if you have had issues with modpacks in the past.
The modpack made it possible to add more engaging challege while adding a lot of quality of life improvements. I also made a great effort to make the modpack stay true to how Minecraft “feels”, and like this could have been how Mojang might have made Minecraft if they focused mainly on their 13+ audience.

Vechs’ passion for game design has always gone beyond Minecraft, though Minecraft was his favorite for years because of the amount of control he had to create great experiences. What happened to Vechs?
Vechs has been doing great! For having such a long public career online, it’s understandable for people to check in after long gaps of time wondering how he’s doing, what content he’s released, and what he’s currently working on.
What have you done in the last 10 years?
I’ve released over 20 Minecraft maps, countless videos and streams, made an MMO inside Minecraft, traveled the world, married, and more. I have a Discord that I use for talking to you guys on a regular basis, and it’s definitely a “the more the merrier” type of place and I’m really glad you guys are so cool to hang out with.
Are you still a Youtuber?
I don’t post on Youtube often, but I will post whenever I have something to talk about that isn’t better as a livestream or text format. I find that to truly reap the rewards of Youtube, I would have to post so often that my video game related projects with suffer badly. I hope everyone understands this “slow content” approach is because of wanting to produce quality over quantity.
